While you and I have 46 chromosomes, an individual with Down syndrome has 47. This extra chromosome is most definitely where the EXTRA LOVE is stored! The three arrows have come to be associated with Down syndrome because they represent the three 21st chromosomes, and how these LUCKY FEW rise up and move forward. So now you know, when it comes to Down syndrome, “there’s nothing DOWN about it!”
